Three buildings that were formerly a bank, a library and a flower shop are now the site of Baldwin City’s City Hall and Police Station. This adaptive use project added handicap accessibility to the main floor of the former bank by installing a new ramp in the former library. An existing stamped tin ceiling was restored in the former bank. Windows were replaced in the former bank and new windows were cut into existing masonry in the former library. New handrails and guardrails were added and a new canopy a t the former library protects the public entrance into City Hall.
